Simply amazing. The first few times my brother and I faced the computer we were able to get up to Mileena with no problems. Then the throwing/flipping started. Now my brother can whisk past the female ninjas with ease and get creamed by Kintaro, affectionately (or not so affectionately) dubbed "Goro's dad." I still have problems with Mileena (Kitana's easier to beat) but on occassion do reach Kintaro as well. First off, a strategy for Kitana and Mileena using Shang Tsung or Baraka (which probably works with anyone, I guess): Jump back at the beginning of the round to avoid a quick two punches and then a flip. If a fan or sai is thrown, just block it and return fire. Either way you just jump forward and perform a jump kick to knock her down. Jump back and shoot a projectile or two (Baraka has the fastest recovery after shooting a blue bolt, Shang Tsung has the multiple skulls). Then jump forward again and give her another jump kick, and jump back and repeat the cycle. 66% of the time it should work... 33% of the time she'll block and do something to ruin your rhythm. My brother knows how to recover his rhythm quickly; I still have problems. >[Michael's complaints about difficulty levels] >It truly does sound like they jacked up the difficulty for ya... > Well first of all the game is still in its testing versions. Second of all why make it easy to get to Shang Tsung/Kintaro/Shao Kahn? The challenge would drum up more business, no matter how frustrating it seems. Did *you* ever give up on Mortal Kombat when you couldn't get past Liu Kang or Scorpion or whomever you fought in the fourth battle over the pit??? It's too early in the morning; I've got to sleep longer. -- sca...@nyx.cs.du.edu "What is Truth?" -- Pilate -- sca...@nyx.cs.du.edu "What is Truth?" -- Pilate
