In response to Shang Tsung's multiple fireballs -

two back + HIGH PUNCH will get you one fireball,
two back - forward + HIGH PUNCH will get you two fireballs, and
two back - two forward + HIGH PUNCH gets you three.

I tried to find a move for four fireballs, but I don't think it exists...

The three fireballs do quite a lot of damage especially when your opponent jumps and you hit them three times in the air, just like in the original MK with Shang Tsung.  He is quickly becoming my favorite character.
