Hey...

When I was in Cincinnati this summer
(yep, another UC story....)

I played againist VERY good competition. Sometimes I even beat people
who I felt had more "skill" than I (i.e. knows more combos and could
pull them off a lot quicker than me). Occansionally, I beat this guy who
KNEW he was a better player than I and this is what he would do to me:

After I won the second round, the characteristic "FINISH HIM" would sound.
But if I killed him and ended up close to him, he somehow was able to
uppercut (with the crowd saying "OOooohhhh") me as I tried a Subzero fatality
or a Raiden fatality (a fatility where you are moving towards the opponent
or you are VERY close to the victim.

When he uppercutted me, the screen proceeded as usual except, since I got
uppercutted, I did not have time to get back over to him and perform the
fatality. This has happened to me twice. Once he was Raiden and once he was
Cage.

The way he did it is (I think - I was so "hurt" that he uppercutted me as
I was going to do the fatality, I didn't know what to do) as we neared the end
of the match, with me getting the last hit... I killed him, and he desparately
started pressing the buttons. He must have pulled down and hit low punch (or
high punch) cause I got hit just as I killed him, but it was not the same as
when 2 people jump (at the end of a match) and one person gets the jump kick
even though that person is dead afterwards. This was a "move" he did to me,
not a buffered move.

Think about it.

P.S. I didn't know that you could uppercut with high punch until the other
day. Does that take more energy than low uppercut? (It should)
Does a jump "high" kick take more energy than a jump "low" kick?
Please reply but change the subject of your reply....

P.S.S. I LOVE hitting Liu in the balls... He must have the longest scream
	in the game.
