And now, something completly NEW in this NG!
For those who do not RTFM! Like Mr Blunck. Haha! ;)

ˇ How can I register TTDPatch?

Do nothing. Send me a postcard. Feed the world. Whatever.

ˇ Will TTDPatch ever go shareware|commercial?

I'm NOT (unlike some big companies that I can't name, like Microsoft) using
you as a guinea pig. This means (and I can't state it more clearly) NO,
NEVER.

ˇ How can I speed up TTDPatch?

SWITCH TO 256 COLORS, turn the sound off, have a look at Options then buy a
Pentium IV and|or a fast video card.

ˇ How can I customize the toolbar?

See next question.

ˇ How can I drag the toolbar?

You can't.

ˇ What do FPS and CPU mean?

You don't want to know.

ˇ Why are the colors so dark?

So that you don't have to wear shades.

ˇ I use large fonts and an extra large appearance scheme. Why doesn't
TTDPatch look nice?

Aaarghhhh.

ˇ I keep pushing the Music button but I hear nothing. Why?

You aren't pushing either a) hard enough or b) the right dot.

ˇ Why isn't (your favorite useless feature) created?

Wait till next version.

ˇ When will the next version be released?

See answer above.

ˇ Why is TTDPatch so slow?

Pick the answer that offends you the least.
a) No, it's not. It's "very fast".
b) So that you can keep up with it.
c) If you think you can write a faster patch on XP, implementing all the
features that TTDX does, then try so.

For people's information, however, there is a proper AGMTT FAQ, hosted at
http://www.tt-forums.net/faq/, "The Unofficially Official Looking
Alt.Games.Microprose.Transport-Tyc FAQ v4.12". If Tom Cumming is around and
still wants to maintain this, then let me know and I can provide you with an
FTP login (the servers have changed again - tt-forums is now on a much
faster, more powerful server than it was before).

I am still around, yes, but haven't had much time to look over it
recently. I should add that virtually none of the content is mine
- Jan Willem used to compile the text and I just used to put it
into HTML form so it was a bit nicer to view. I'll drop you an
email when i find the time to blitz it!

Ah, yes, that's true, I'm supposed to keep the FAQ up to date. However, I
don't think it's VERY much outdated.
If people would care to have a look at it, and let me know any
additions/changes they would like to propose, I'ld be happy to implement
them.

I wasn't getting at you - just pointing out that writing the
content is not just my job, or yours, or anyone else's in particular.
