Excellent feature, but I've got a snag. Every time I try to build a loco in an electric railway depot, the loco is treated as wagon not as a loco. Meaning I can't actually do anything with it? Any ideas?

Built some electric track. Built an electric depot. On the end of the track I added regular track. Built a BR Class 87. Sent its on its way and it happily went onto and travelled along the non electrified track..

I've now got to the stage where trains reverse and refuse to cross from electrified track to a non electrified track even though they are diesel powered :(

I suggest you try starting a new game and see if they have the problem too. If that's the case, it's probably a fault in the .grf file which provides these engines. But if a new game works fine, then somehow the vehicle stats got saved incorrectly. -- Josef Drexler | http://publish.uwo.ca/~jdrexler/ ---------------------------------+---------------------------------------- Please help Conserve Gravity | Email address is *valid*. I've done a bit of fiddling around and it seems that it's only locos which existed at the time of the conversion from normal to electric track that are affected. Brand new locos have no problem transferring between the two types of track, and thus, if I renew a train, it works fine. However, brand new electric stuff still goes over the old track without issue. Be a shame if I have to restart as this particular savegame has been 5 years in the making ;)

That's understandable, because everything you bought before turning on electrifiedrailways will be considered a diesel engine. > However, brand new electric stuff still goes over the old track without > issue. That's somewhat strange, however. If you have a recent alpha version, try using the GRF status window and click "apply" to reset all vehicle properties. In older versions, use the "Cht: ResetVehicles" sign cheat.
