Hmm, it occurs to me now that ttdpatch.dat might for some reason be
written incorrectly.

Afoklala, can you try the following?  Delete ttdpatch.dat before trying to
run the patch.  Then run the patch, and if it still crashes, please email
me the ttdpatch.dat file that is generated.
