The investment of 99 cents in a 6-pack would mean you could break half of them 
and still have the better deal. Not only that, but now people (mostly female) 
will want to visit you and see or even USE the glass. If you had six, there'd 
have to be 5 people visiting simultaneously for you to run out of glasses. I'm 
betting your home doesn't fit five.
