Hello Chaps, Having read The Pacifist's FAQ, I have been trying to run Duke3d from Dos using a Bootdisk but have run into some trouble. Could someone show me what a boot disk has on it? My own attempt loads the the CD driver and runs Duke3d.exe but then stalls after the requester:'Soundscape environment not set' (sounscape being my soundcard). Presumably it can't find the Soundscape.ini (?) and perhaps my Autoexec.bat needs to carry a 'path' command or something. So basically, can some righteous dude, tell me what needs to be on the bootdisk and what their Autoexec.bat file reads like. I've tried looking at the Duke help file but there is just too much information for this tiny brain to take in. My Autoexec.bat reads: A:\MSCDEX.EXE /D:CD1 /L:G Path=A:\; SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T8 P330 H5 set path=E:\GAMES2\DUKE3d; C:\Windows; A:\; E:\ CD E:\Games2 CD E:\Games2\Duke3d E:\GAMES2\DUKE3D\Duke3d.exe Is there something missing? PLEASE HELP AND EMAIL ME AT: St...@destry.demon.co.uk
