That's weird. The Plutonium Pack patch program is specifically made to
update the 1.3d version of Duke Nukem. Are you sure you used the right
patch? You can download the Plutonium Pack patch program from here:

ftp://ftp.3drealms.com/patches/ppack15.exe

Use THIS program to install the Plutonium Pack CD. Do *NOT* use the patch
program that autoruns on the Plutonium Pack CD.

Once you've got your copy of Duke patched, you might want to check out the
Windows ports of Duke Nukem 3D, which you can download from here:
http://jonof.edgenetwork.org/buildport/duke3d/
