I don't know what it is, then. "duke3d -map whatever.map" is the
right command. I don't know what keeps it from finding the map.

Since I only have Atomic edition (1.5), I can only see how 1.5 treats
it. I've gotten mixed reports on whether pre-Atomic edition will
work.

Thanks.

Aw, that takes the fun out of it. I always figured that if floater
were ever in an episode, it'd have to be arranged so that one wouldn't
have jetpack or scuba.

Looking at the source, there's no way. God mode treats the jetpack
specially.

Didja ever notice that if you're in god mode you can still pick up one
jetpack, but not immediately a second one (until you drain the jetpack
a bit, of course). That's because (Warning! Presence of C detected!)
god mode doesn't set `ps[myconnectindex].jetpack_amount' to 1600, the
way "dnstuff" and "dninventory" immediately do (in GAME.C). Instead,
it keeps setting `p->jetpack_amount' to 1599 every turn (in ACTORS.C).

So (in English this time) only god mode replenishes the jetpack.

Maybe they'll just skip from Duke 3D past Duke 4ever to the next
version: Duke 5nally Out. }:)
