At the end of April, 1997, the Australian OFLC re-classified the original
US version of Duke Nukem 3D. This now may be distributed legally in
Australia with the same MA15+ rating that the original censored Australian
version received. If you have the earlier censored Australian version, and
would like to change to the un-censored US version, you can download the
patch file from 3DRealms. The file is called d3d-us.exe The game was
censored by manac.com as a condition for distributing it in Australia and
New Zealand.

I can't confirm that that game was specifically censored because of the Port
Arthur killings so I won't continue to make that claim.
