I have 4 x 512 PC3200 at DDR400 dual channel. The GPU is a Radeon 9800 XT 256 Mb. I'm also using a 20" flat-screen monitor (Dell 2001FP) with a 16-ms response time (and I can happily report that even Doom3 doesn't suffer any response time issues with this monitor). Anyway, I need to run the timedemo tonight, but using FRAPS I've been monitoring my fps and I've been able to run Ultra quality at 124x768 with no AA and get 65-70 fps. All advanced are on except vsync. I tried 4x AA and the fps dropped in the toilet to about 25. After reading through those tweaks that you gave the link to McG, it looks like I might be able to boost the fps over 100 if I drop down to High quality, but I wonder if the compression will change the game's "feel" enough to make it noticeable. I'm sure having 60+ fps is just fine, anyway. I'll repost after I run the timedemo tonight. Mike
