In general, if you want to get it to play with all features on, with antialiasing and anisotropic filtering, you really should be looking at a 6800GT. If you're looking to play in 1600x1200, a 6800 Ultra. As for the CPU, anything from 2.5 GHz up will do fine. I have a mobile AthlonXP 2500+ (A $80 chip) clocked to above 3200+ levels, and it plays the game just dandy with a 6800GT. I play in 1024x768 with 4x antialiasing and 8x anisotropic filtering. To keep frame rates where I like them at 1280x1024 would take a 6800 Ultra - but 1024x768 (even on my 21" monitor) is plenty of resolution, the game looks *incredible* - especially with the AA/AF. > On a related note, back in the days of the voodoo 2, you could use two of > them to nearly double your frame rate. The 6600's are due out some time soon, and will be SLI capable. We'll see how they stack up to a single 6800GT (which would be about the same price) when they come out. My guess is that they won't compare, because the second card wouldn't be in an AGp or 16x PCI-E port, so would have the bandwidth limitted greatly. steve
