On 8/8/2004 2:21 PM pop brightened our day with: >"McGrandpa" <McGrandpaNOT@NOThotmail.com> wrote in message >news:f4sRc.6401$va2.1120@fe1.texas.rr.com... > > >>Sorry to hear about the hardware dying. At least, it's fixable! Am >>glad you got it to run on the spare puter. I'm afraid my spare is the >>old P3-800 with a Radeon 7000 in it. But no worries, main rig's as stable as place you keep horses. Doom 3's rockin' on mine at high quality 1024x768, I'm luckily not having any problems like a lot of 9800 people. McG, is the 9800 Pro still texture flickering, is Doom 3 running OK for you? ...I like having you old guys around in here, makes me feel like a kid. -- The Brain From Planet Arous (1958): "Bad alien Gor takes over scientist Steve's brain; good alien Vol takes over Steve's dog's brain."
