Yet, you must also share this experience "After a few shots you have to switch back to the flashlight to see if the enemy is dead yet. No? Crap. Ok switch to shottie again for another round. Then back to the flashlight of course so you can see if he dropped anything." -review LOL.. That part is quite true. I'm running it on Radeon 9800Pro and it was not that dark. I easily improved everything using r_gamma 1.3, very soon afterwards. But this game 'so far' is totally lacking gaming innovations; It's only a matter of fragging the baddies down linear corridors, one after the other. I'm pissed that everything in this game is meant to bring down the performance of an excelent 3Ghz machine and latest hardware to its knees for that..... I can play UT2004 1600x1280 here, many times the framerate; with a great weapon variety, gametypes and even vehicules.. Running down dark corridors to kill ugly faces, over and over ? They missed the boat.... Were in 2004. Some people at id are on crack for sure. The review is HILARIOUS and I will recommend it to friends: fav quote: "The sound effects are very nice and sexual with lots of moaning and groaning. " LOL
