Try Modem, or IPX (Local Network Game). These two are "Join and Leave" type games as Battle.Net is. So you play, and the computer waits for someone to call, or join in. The Direct Cable, I had problems with also, I am guessing this is because the computer is trying to talk out of the printer port, and nothing is there. Use the Local Network option, that way the computer won't answer the phone for you. Mitch K.
