I need some help here! I recently bought an Dell optiplex GX260 at a business auction. Its' a very small computer without room for expansion. It appears to be a network machine. I want to add a joy stick so I can play descent. I just bought D3 and the expansion pack. There is no actual game port. There are several usb ports. After loading the joystick software I keep getting a message saying that there is a problem with the gameport or the gameport controller. I looked under the SOUND, VIDEO, & GAME CONTROLLER file but do not see a game controller. So my question is: Is there anyway I can add a joystick to the system so I can play?

your system did not come with a gameport. You would need to buy a USB stick and use the USB ports. USB sticks are also better then their gameport conunterparts. As Fusion said, buy a USB stick. You may also be able to add a game port by adding a sound card; even the cheapest Creative card (used to) have one. -- Andrew Timson =============== Grr. Argh.
