I recently got Descent and while it is good I find I don't like it as
much as Doom. Sure the engine is better, but it's less, well, less, uh,
realistic. Not the graphics but the movement. In Doom you are more like
a real person. I also find Doom much more intuitive to control (YES! I
have played Descent a lot and I have gotten the 'hang' of it, I always
love laughing at watching a newbie play it. You can tell whenever they
want to go forward when their nose dips down :D
Does anyone know if it is built on the same "open architecture"
philosophy as Doom is so we can have new levels, graphics, sounds, music,
and EXE patches? (though I suppose that last one is part of the "open
architekitrurece")
