Is it just me or what but everytime I have played against the GLA on
skirmish mode they never use the Combat Cycle's...I've played 3 at a time
set on hard and still haven't seen them use em....anyone else noticed this
also?

When I play against a GLA demolition general they use the combat cycles to great effect - just two of them can destroy an overlord with full health. Very annoying. But they're pretty cool. However, I haven't seen any of the other GLA generals, or just plain GLA, make use of the combat cycles. So try playing against the demolition general if you haven't done that yet. :-) "Drinkenstein" <vodka@beer.net> wrote in message news:vrtom2bag839f7@corp.supernews.com... > Is it just me or what but everytime I have played against the GLA on > skirmish mode they never use the Combat Cycle's...I've played 3 at a time > set on hard and still haven't seen them use em....anyone else noticed this > also? > > The Anonymous Alcoholic! If the opponent hasn't attacked and I've then got sufficient other units & cash I tend to swop the terrorist drivers for a worker and Karmen Jell, you can keep your opponent occupied for ages with these two (Jell is stealthed) leaving you to prepare a decisive assault force while they hunt them down. The worker on the bike is an excellent rush unit for getting a tunnel in the enemies base (not a tactic I like but many do to good effect). I think the fact that these are use and lose units stops too many being built by most players. Doc
