I have loaded the most recent drivers. The weird thing is the game was
running ok until I tried to restore a backup...

i needed to format the kids pc so i made a backup of the generals
folder so my son did not lose his progress. unfortnately the game does
not have a specific "save" folder so i had to make a copy the whole
folder onto another disk. when i re-installed the game it ran
perfectly. i then copied the backup game (simple copy and paste) over
the newly installed game to restore my sons progress, started the game
up and wallop - corrupt graphics.

to rectify this problem i uninstalled the game again and then
re-installed it (telling my son he would have to start again from
scratch). but the graphics were still corrupt. so i formatted the pc
again re-installed windws etc (last night), re-installed the game but
the grpahics are still corrupt!!!!

how scary is that???

hopefully someone wil be able to help, as my son saved his pcoket
money to buy this game.
