I see two problems. First of all, with a GeForce 4 or earlier card, you should use the 45.23 driver version, and not the latest 50.xx driver versions which are optimised for GeForce FX cards and newer and have known issues with older cards. Second of all, there is in fact a savegame folder, but you didn't notice it. It is in \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals\ (for Generals) and \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\ (for ZH). These folders contains savegames, options, profiles, replays, and downloaded maps. See http://www.planetcnc.com/generals/help/faq.shtml#backup and http://www.planetcnc.com/generals/zerohour/help/faq.shtml#backup for more details about these two folders. Thirdly, you must patch up both Generals and Zero Hour. Note that the patches are maintained independently e.g. patch 1.07 for Generals does not affect Zero Hour in the slightest. -- - Tim G. This whole post refers to Command & Conquer Generals plus the Zero > Hour Expansion.
