1) ah if Chris was only here, he's had alot of experience with this, hehehe
2)goto http://www.westwood.com/westwoodonline/index.html
this is the main WWC (WestWood Chat) menu
pick memberships (upper left) and download the applicable software
then follow the instructions..since you have Win95 Gold you can do this
,but does our friend?
3)unfortunately i am computer illiterate, and don;t even know what an IPX
is

further notes:
1) if calling each other is a toll charge, and both of you can get online
without per minute charges, your better off meeting each other at WWC and
playing there (just be sure to know each other's WC name and whoever hosts
need to limit the access to the othere)
2)these instructions to install Westwood Online:
Move the file you just downloaded to a temporary folder (C:\TEMP is usually
a good choice), and then double-click on the file name in Explorer to
extract the setup files. Once all of the setup files have been extracted,
there should be a file called "setup.exe" in the folder. Simply
double-click on this file to run the installation program.

Once Westwood Online has been installed on your system, you need to run the
Internet Registration program to obtain a login name and password, if you
have not previously done so. To run this program select "Start" from the
taskbar, then "Programs", then "Westwood", and finally "Internet
Registration". Follow the directions, and you're all set!
