I didn't get the original post but I'm assuming someone was bitching about how
his harvesters keep getting taken out by ORCAs. If you're playing NOD there is
just no excuse for this. You have stealth tanks, Nod bikes and Sam sites. A few
stealth tanks parked in the middle of your tiberium patch can make ORCA raids
hideously expensive for the GDI player. Four stealth tanks should be able to
take out one ORCA per engagement. A half dozen bikes should be able to the same.
A few sandbags and a refinery should allow you to build sam sites near your
tiberium as well. Combine four stealth tanks and two Sam sites and ORCAs will
start dropping like flies. Of cause if your opponent is clever and still has the
ORCAs selected he turns them on the stealth tanks, at which point you make that
particular tank run away and recloak. Bikes can do the same and are faster than
ORCAs and should escape. 

If you're playing GDI its a little more complicated.... The Apache is less
effective against harvesters but two Apaches can destroy bazooka troops and GDI
missile trucks with childish easy. Building a refinery close by with AGT is an
acceptable solution but the best is really a half dozen mammoth tanks occupying
your tiberium patch. They're capable of moving(if only at snail's pace.)  They
knock down Apaches with an acceptable speed and they protect the harvester quite
well against ground forces. 

So there! What's the problem? Helicopters are useless if you defend agains them.
If you don't well then expect to be clobbered.
