Well you better learn them-- Netscape's the one playing catch-up now. Some of the MSIE features from 3.0 are being brought to Netscape 4.0 (Including ActiveX). As far as features go, Both are pretty much the same, except MSIE is about 1 1/2 times faster displaying pages than Netscape. MSIE supports everything Netscape does plus more. (It's also much better integrated w/WIN95). Java applets also start 30% faster under MSIE3. > Not to mention that all the pages are created > for Netscape viewing. This is not true. Lately, more and more web sites are displaying Internet Explorer logos, and less "Netscape Now!" logo's. > Netscape's the universal browser, Explorer's > just another pitiful attempt from Microsoft to take over the computing > industry... IE's market share is up to 20% and still growing. > Next time, Microsoft, at least make a halfway decent > product if you want to compete. > If MSIE isn't halfway decent, what does this make Netscape? Almost every magazine rates MSIE3 higher than Netscape. MSIE is also adding features faster than NEtscape. AS far as Netscapes interface goes, it hasn't changed a bit since 1.2 or earlier. (At least until 4.0 finally came out). It's just a matter of personal preference -- nothing worth arguing about, Download both and keep the one you like.
