MSIE is intentionally integrated with win95 from the start! Just like Paintbrush for BMP files back in win 3.1, MSIE for web pages in 95. When I bought my computer with 95 on it, I had to change like 20 filetypes set to open in msie to their respective editing programs I had (even GIF files for god sakes) As for the "facts and figures" above (1.5 times faster at web pages and 30% faster at Java) give some proof before you say those things. One thing I still like about Netscape is that although I always load pages with images, I like the ability to turn it off (referring to auto load images) when I am in a hurry to get at the page. I haven't seen that for MSIE. <some snippage of useless back and forth> > MSIE is also adding features faster than NEtscape. AS far as Netscapes > interface goes, it hasn't changed a bit since 1.2 or earlier. (At least > until 4.0 finally came out). Hasn't changed since 1.2? Which web browser invented the frames idea in version 2.0, may I ask? And how many pages are influenced now by frames, may I ask? And which browser company first signed an agreement with Sun the creators of Java? > > It's just a matter of personal preference -- nothing worth arguing about, > Download both and keep the one you like. This is the one statement in this post I can agree with. Slipgate
