I just wanted to give some additional information. The maps are
not suited for skirmish against the AI because of the general need to build
ships on them, which is something I have never seen the AI do. They are
very well suited for multiplayer human games over a LAN or online gaming
service, though! We've had some truly epic games with these maps.
Feel free to put them up on your web page or modify them as you see
fit. I for one would like to see more organic homemade maps instead of the
ridiculously symmetrical, over-monied maps that seem to be in greatest
availability. This is a little thank-you to the gaming community; let's
see what you can do too!
