Look, I don't know if Counterstrike is going to sell big or not (it
probably won't, but who knows). Anyway, tank rushing is NOT a problem
at all. So, it takes away a little of the strategy, but have you
considered that it is a strategy of its own? Another strategy is
learning to stop it, and yes, it can be stopped.

One time I played against a friend over the modem. He didn't exactly
tank rush me early, but he sent about 15-20 heavy tanks along with a few
v2 rockets over to my base to attack. This was fairly early in the
game. I was able to beat him. I built up my base fast and put up 3
airfields after building a barracks, refinery, war factory and radar
dome. Then, I built another war factory, and three more airfields. I
was able to destroy his one CY and one refinery at the beginning. This
is when he attacked. I got up a third war factory and a second
refinery, and with the tanks that I had up, I was able to stop him. He
had destroyed two of my war factories, one of my airfields, and one of
my refineries, but after that, beating him was a piece of cake.

No matter what some people say, the tank rush can be stopped. just
build your own tanks, and a couple of base defense structures never
hurt. Tank rushing is NOT a problem.
