After I posted the first response I bought a BRAND NEW 386SX motherboard
for my PC, using an AMI BIOS - being a true hacker I set the clock to Dec
31, 1989 and let the clock run over into 1990 - no problem. Next I tried
Dec 31, 1999 and guess what the "next" day was Jan 1, *1980*
I wonder how many other PCs are out there with this same bug in the BIOS?
How many 386 machines will be in accounting offices etc. by 1999?
Sigh ......
