Czy sa to okreslenia na "repeater"? 

Repeater jest zwyklym wzmacniaczem sygnalow.

Zajrzyj do ksiazki Comera "TCPIP..." wydanej przez WNT, tam jest slowniczek
terminow sieciowych na koncu ksiazki. Naprawde niezly.
