Its most likely a running background task.
If you have a program that will allow you to remove startup's from the
registry i would start there.
IF NOT - you can manually do it by going to
"StartMenu>Run>"regedit">HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Curre
ntVersion>Run
when you get there, there will be a listing in the top right window of what
is scheduled to run.
if you see anything out of the ordinary you can delete it, but DONT delete
any system startups

Alex,
click on end task.  this message comes up when a program is still running in
the back ground.
If you click on end task, the  machine will close that program and then shut
down. If you get several of this message, continue to click on end task.
