will not get a validy response.

On this note, I am looking for a way to use
PKZip to span across multiple floppies.
I use the -&, but in NT 4.0 that does NOT seem to work.
Yes, I am exiting to DOS to run my Zips and Unzips.

Thanks for your help,
Jeff Quinn

Try -^&

The & symbol is used to put multiple commands on the command line.

The & symbol is used in NT batch commands.
There is a Windows version of PKZIP - http://www.pkware.com.

If you want good command line zip capabilities...take a look
at Info-Zip http://www.cdrom.com/pub/infozip/

Not sure how well (if) it handles spanning disks. It does allow
you to create embedded directories from an arbitrary root...
something I couldn't get WinZip to do.

Supports long filenames...

It is also portable...runs on DOS, Win95, NT, Unix, Mac, lots more...
and it's free (yes...free, not shareware...freeware).

Regards,
Chris
