Hello,

there are several steps to add a Mac to a Novell 3.12 server:

- first install the "Netware for MacIntosh" floppy
  use "load install" on the server, then "product options"  etc.
- prepare your volume for use with a Mac:
  on the server:      LOAD MAC
                               ADD  NAME  SPACE  MACINTOSH  TO  VOLUME  SYS
- add the following lines to you autoxec.ncf
  Example:
  (use your special drivername instead of NETCARD, use your port-adress,
int´s  etc.)
     LOAD  APPLETLK  NET=55000  ZONE={"ADMIN"}

     LOAD   NETCARD  PORT=xxx   FRAME=ETHERNET_SNAP   NAME=ESNAP
     BIND   APPLETLK   ESNAP   NET=101-105  ZONE={"MAIN"}
     LOAD   AFP

- on the Mac: go into the "Chooser" click on "Appleshare" and follow the
menus

This will perhaps not cover all your needs, Therefor use the Novell "Netware
for Macintosh" manual for further information.
