Najlepiej zapodam za autorem z "Version History": - MacSOUP now uses registration numbers for registered users. Please read the manual chapter "How to register" for details. The unregistered version has no limitations or disabled functions except that it displays a dialog box at startup (which will interfere with unattended downloads controlled by AppleScript), and the "X-Mailer" or "X-Newsreader" header of your outgoing messages shows that your version is unregistered. - Added a "Print Message" command. - When you're editing a reply to another message or article, you can open the original message (the one you're replying to) by choosing "Back to Original Message" from the Message menu (command-B). - Added a command to cancel your own articles (i.e. to withdraw them from the server). Please read the new manual chapter about this topic for all the details. - You can now add custom headers to your outgoing messages. The contents of the "Mail Headers" and "News Headers" fields from Internet Config are added to all your messages (as long as they are syntactically valid, as far as MacSOUP can tell), but you can also edit these headers on a per-message basis by clicking the Options button in the editor window. - Added the functionality of ICeTEe 2 (by Michael Schrig, <http://www.uni-bonn.de/~uzs90z/>): if you hold down the option key while command-clicking an URL, the URL is not opened, but sent to your bookmark helper application. - Rudimentary support for "text/enriched" messages: these messages are converted to text/plain, i.e. the formatting tags are stripped. - Supports the display of icons stored in X-Faces headers. - Newsgroup names in the main window and the "All Groups" window can now be copied to the clipboard. - In earlier versions, when a news index file had to be rebuilt you would lose all headers (without body) in that group, as well as all article status information, i.e. which articles you had read, which were tagged or locked etc. MacSOUP now keeps additional data files in its database which allow it to rebuild index files without losing information. (Note: If the database was created with an earlier version of MacSOUP, some older articles that have been deleted or purged may reappear when an index file is rebuilt. They will appear as unread, so they're easy to spot.) - If you hold down the shift, command, and option keys while opening a settings file, MacSOUP asks you whether you want to have the news index files rebuilt. This may be helpful if you suspect database corruption. - The "Followup" and "Reply by Mail" menu commands now show their keyboard shortcuts (F and R, respectively, without the command key). - When MacSOUP complains about a missing or incorrect Internet Config setting, there's a button that takes you directly to that setting in Internet Config. It's ok to edit IC settings while MacSOUP is open (but don't forget to save changes). - Various bugs fixed. -- Severin Kurpiers
