Czesc!
W jadrze systemu SCO jest taki parametr NCLIST, czy ktos wie do jakiej 
wartosci mozna go zwiekszyc.

W przypadku OSR5 dokumentacja podaje minimalna i defaultowa wartosc NCLIST
rowna 120, a maksymalna wartosc rowna 16640.

W czesci dokumentacji SCO "Performance management - Optimizing serial I/O"
( str. 875 - 876) pisza, ze:

"TTHOG is the max. size of the raw queue of the tty driver. Increasing the
value of this parameter allows more unprocessed characters to be retained
in the tty buffer, which many prevent input characters from being lost if
the system is extremely busy. The default value of TTHOG (256) is too small
fot high speed throughput. we recomented thet you start by increasing TTHOG
to 2048. Some applications might need a highter value, such as 4096."

I uwaga !!!!

"If you increase the value of TTHOG, YOU MUST also incerase the value of
the NCLIST kernel parameter. ........"

I w dalszej czesci :

"Use following formulas to calculate the new value for NCLIST:

TTHOG = 2048 new NCLIST value = old NCLIST value + 32 * (number of serial
ports)
TTHOG = 2048 nen NCLIST value = old NCLIST value + 64 * (number of serial
ports)"

I to by bylo na tyle "w temacie NCLIST"
