Systemami operacyjnymi była cała gałąź NT - NT 3.1, 3.51, 4, 2000, XP ,
Vista, ....
Powstały na jądrze Mach (?) - dla procesora RISC Alfa (nie intel !);
mechanizmach z OS/2 oraz GUI z aktualnego tandemu DOS/Windows.
Graficzne pokrewieństwo np. pomiędzy Windows NT 4.0 a 95 to tylko
kwestia wyglądu i wygody obsługi dla użytkownika i maskowało zupełnie
inne mechanizmy wewnętrzne systemu.
