Do CZEGOKOLWIEK mozna przyczepic etykietke Quatntum Computing w celach
marketingowych. Chociaz nawet w superconducting computer malo wierze.
Gdyby sie taki komputer pokazal na rynku, bylby niezly szum. A jakos
owego szumu nei slychac.

Nie dalej jak tydzien temu bylen na demo pewnej firmy ktora twierdzila
ze uzywa "Genetic Programming". Po podrapaniu okazalo sie ze to
najbardziej trywialny algorytm losowania przypadkowego. Powiedzialem
to prowadzacemu demo. "Wiemy" odpowiedzial. "Ale Genetic Computing
bardzo dobrze brzmi marketingowo"


Kiedys negocjowalem employment z firma typu "university spinoff" z
wieklimi nazwiaskami, naprawde WIELKIMI w dziedzinie teorii
optymalizacji, ktora to firma twierdzila ze ma sposob na rozwiazywanie
DOWOLNEGO problemu optumalizacji w czaie nie przekraczajacym kilku
minut. Rozniez takich ktoze zamuja najlepszym nieliniowym solverom
godziny czy dni. Probonowano abym zostal "glownym" od implementacji
tego solvera.

W owa teze wierzyl gleboko caly managemet i board of directors.
Zlozony z wielkich nazwisk. Nie nowiac o Venture Capital

To bylo jakies 3 lata temu. Nadal nei slychac o algorytrmie, ale firma
dalej istnieje.
