VLOOKUP/MATCH problem
#104453

Hi,
	I'm trying to use a cell in one sheet to find a row in another sheet.

xd = WorksheetFunction.Substitute(cd, "/", "-")
j = Application.Match(xd, Sheets("Sheet2").Range("a2:a800"), 0)

xd has a value of "2010-01-11" after the substitute function has
executed and column a in Sheet2 has date values with exactly the same
format. I always get "Error 2042" no matter what I do. Vlookup gives the
same result.

It has something to do with dates, I'm sure.

Can someone help?

TIA, Pierre.
