I jeszcze jedno zauważyłem - akurat poniżej:

    puts "Tekst po edycji: [.tekst get 0.0 end]"
  }

Powinno chyba być: [.tekst get 1.0 end]

Wprawdzie błędem nie sypie - ale, jeśli chodzi o ścisłość...
