Tak ogolnie to zalezy tez od tego jakim kompilatorem jest stworzony glowny Tcl. .lib nie sa kompatibilne pomiedzy Boland, VC++ i mingw. chociaz podobno mozna je dopasowac. ActiveTcl uzywa VC++ 6.0 wiez jest to najlepszy wybor. Kod zrodlowy Tcl zawiera tez projekty dla (WorkSpace) dla VC++ 6.0 Config pod Windows nie bedzie dzialac dlatego czesto trzeba zrobic MakeFile dla NMake od reki. Do tego mozna posluzyc sie takze Makefile.in jako szablonu. Ja sam kompilowalem mysqltcl z free VC++ od reki. Ale to duzo roboty w dopaspwywaniu. Z Borland nie mialem szczesci poniewaz nie rozumial on lib danych z dystrybucji Tcl. Jesli chodzi o gotowe dll dla img to mozna je sobie sciagnac np z Tclkit (Kitten).
