Code Golf -- SPOJ - NOP

Hi everyone, I found a very interesting problem in spoj.

You can refer the problem description here: http://www.spoj.pl/problems/NOP/

I somehow reduced my solution to 42 bytes. But the shortest solution
is 39 bytes (By Piotr Fusik )

Here is my solution. Any hints on further reduction ?

$n+=~y///c&3for<>=~/(.*?)[A-Z]/g;print$n-3

Well, what is allowed? Command line switches? How is the length of the
program counted?

I'm not going to post my solution here. :)

Score is file length, including the shebang line. :(
