Dear Friends , I'm using PERL Win32 for my own webserver. Can perl win32 access Microsoft Access database file ? What I do not is save the database file to a text file format and manipulate the text file with my perl program for searching and query. I'm not sure whether any perl library now that is available that can access the database file directly. support SQL statement ? Any tips or hints ? Thanks Regards, Alex

Sure - try with DBI::ODBC module (should be available with Your PERL
instalation) - this is quite nice interface to contact with DBMS via ODBC.
More info You can get by typing 'perldoc DBI' and 'perldoc DBI::ODBC'
Good luck...
