Witam,

większość stron korzystających z java script-u działa u mnie poprawnie...
niestety mam problem z: http://mrtweb.cr.usgs.gov/.
Na dolnym lewym pasku przeglądarki (Firefox - problem występuje też w 
Chromium) widzę tylko informację: "Applet not initialised"
(niżej dołączyłem tekst wypluwany przez konsolę).

W związku z tym komunikatem odinstalowałem plugin IcedTea oraz 
zainstalowałem (czy może tylko rozpakowałem) Javę od Oracle
(http://www.java.com/en/download/help/linux_install.xml#selfextracting )
(chciałem zaznaczyć, że pobrałem plik przeznaczony dla procesora 
32.bitowego).

Niestety pomimo wielu prób utworzenia łącza symbolicznego (zarówno do 
pluginu skompilowanego pod starszym jak i nowszym gcc), w różnych 
katalogach (czemu są trzy foldery zawierające w nazwie słowo firefox + 
inne związane np. mozilla), Firefox ciągle nie widzi tego dodatku
(sprawdzałem wpisując about:plugins oraz zaglądając do Narzędzia-->Dodatki).
Proszę pomóżcie, bo siedzę już nad tym kilka dni...

JavaScript to nie java script (cokolwiek to jest) i nie ma z Javą nic 
wspólnego -> NTG
