W mojej opinii nie powinno się w ogóle używać CSS klas do identyfikacji 
elementów w sposób jak wyżej, tj. $('.modal-content'). Wyłącznie 
unikalne id. Jeśli już nie można "id" z jakiegoś powodu, to lepiej 
atrybut data-*
