w tłumaczeniu jestem kiepskim, na mojej stronie piszę tak:
document.nazwaform.nazwaselect[nropcjiselect].text="";

a sprawdzam co wybrane przez:
if(document.nazwaform.nazwaselect.selectedIndex==1){};

na samym select użyłem:
onChange="funkcja_gdyzmiana()" onKeyUp="funkcja_gdyzmiana()"
