Hi there:
Does anyone know how do detect remote object failure in RMI of Java such as
CORBA::Object:: non_existance();
e.g.
Hello obj =(Hello) Naming.lookup("//"+severURL+"/HelloServer");
String message = obj.sayHello();
pause();	// pause this program for a while and kill Server(ie HelloImpl) in
the meantime
obj =(Hello) Naming.lookup("//"+severURL+"/HelloServer");
// Even though Server been killed but not the registry; we still receive
object reference obj
// However how to detect Server when is dead

Thanks in advance,

Stephen
