A procedura FT_Open na pewno istnieje w tej dllce? Może nazwę trzeba 
poprzedzić znakiem "_"? Albo może trzeba użyć innej konwencji 
wywoływania niż stdcall?
Spróbuj jeszcze poprzez dynamiczne ładowanie dllki tj. LoadLibrary, 
GetProcAddress itd. Wtedy może łatwiej dojdziesz gdzie jest problem.
