Mam CnPack. I właśnie sprawdziłem - to on jest winny. Po wyłączeniu da 
się pisać bez zwisu. Wgrałem starszą wersję (stable) i jest to samo.

[5 minut później]
Po testach namierzyłem gada - to Code Input Helper tak krzaczy IDE - 
CnPack/Options/Code Editor Wizard/Advanced/Code Input Helper. Odhaczony, 
po restarcie środowiska pozwala pisać.

Bardzo dziękuję Ci za sugestię.
