Zgodnosc bibliotek - help !!!

Mam male pytanko na temat bibliotek tworzonych przez rozna kompilatory C++. Pisze program pod IBM VAge C++, korzystajac z odbc32.lib i jeszcze innej biblioteki napisanej w C i skompilowanej pod MS VC++. Moj linker krzyczy, ze nie moze znalezc w tej bibliotece funkcji, ktore na pewno tam sa. Sprawdzilem to linkerem z MS VC++. Problemem jest prawdopodobnie sposob konwertowania nazw funkcji w bibliotekach. Jakie parametry/dzialania moga pomoc ? Niestety nie moge przekompilowac w/w biblioteki pod IBM VAge C++ ( nie jestem wlascicelem zrodel), ale moge prosic autora o kompilacje z wybranymi opcjami MS VC++. Pomocy...
