Musisz mieć zainstalowanego maxa, a potem to już wedle instrukcji ;)

1. Copy the plugin 3de_srv.gup6 to the 3dsmax6 plugins folder.
2. Rename the plugin to 3de_srv.gup.
3. On the taskbar, click the Start button, and then click Run. The Run
dialog box appears.
4. Type the command line, C:\3dsmax6\3dsmax.exe -registermax3dx then click
OK. 3ds max 6.0 opens and registers the plugin and then closes. Please note
that a message appears indicating 3ds max was closed unexpectedly.
4. Click OK to clear the message.
5. Start Deep Exploration and click a 3ds max file. 3ds max 6.0 starts as a
DCOM instance and is available to interpret .max files for Deep Exploration.
