Hi,

I am trying to find out to what degree the GIS-based, transportation
macro-modeling software TransCAD from Caliper Corporation (Boston, Mass.) is
used in Poland.  If you are a user, or know one, would you please drop me a
line.  This is not a marketing trick - I am just curious (I've been using it
for 2 years and love it!).

I used to work for Integraph, and been involved in some transportation marketing (MGE Segment Manager). In my opinion, there is only a few users of GIS in transportation. In most of cases Arc/Info is used (even if it is not the best transportation product). I never heard anybody talking about Caliper in Poland. I'm almost sure ther is no Caliper vendor in Poland. or maybe I'm wrong?
